Mt Rothwell Biodiversity Interpretation Centre
Since it’s establishment in the early 2000’s, Mt Rothwell has been generating exceptional threatened species recovery outcomes. Completely fox and feral-cat free, the sanctuary currently holds approximately 80% of the mainland Eastern Barred Bandicoot (EBB) population, as well as having the nations most successful breeding programs for the Eastern Quoll and Southern Brush-Tailed Rock-Wallaby. At 473 ha, it is Victoria's second largest feral predator-free ecosystem (behind sister property Tiverton).
